CHNC challenge 254: bright or sparkly colours

What a wonderful display of entries for last week's challenge - great have a Christmas sing song. I hope you will like this week's challenge. As 5th November has been celebrated in the UK with fireworks (some displays I think this evening), I thought that it would be good to see bright or sparkly Christmas creations.

Please note that I publish the prize winners here and on our facebook page, but don't notify winners individually - it is up to you all to check to see if you have won and email me as requested. There are one or two unclaimed prizes, so it's worth having a look back to see if you were a winner.

Please note that my email to send to now is craftyhazelnut@gmail.com

Before I get on to today's challenge, I need to let you know the winners of challenge 253. There were four opportunities to win a prize:

Now on to:
Challenge 254

For today's challenge I'd like you to use bright or sparkly colours when making your Christmas designs

Once again this week there are four opportunities to win a prize - as usual, winners will be chosen randomly.

The first sponsor  is Craftybren's Embroidered Embellishments:

'Hi my name is Bren, I have been crafting since the year dot. I like to have a few different things on the go at once, knitting, sewing, paper crafting etc, just so I can swap and change around a bit.
I made a few cards with my machine embroidery on, and was asked if I made embroidery to sell, that is how Craftybrens was born. Hope you like what you see.'

The randomly chosen winner will receive £10 of goods from Craftybren's Embroidered Embellishments - please note that if the winner lives outside the UK he/she will be expected to pay for the P & P.

The second sponsor  is Tando Creative:

'We supply our own unique range of chipboard designs that are both innovative and inspiring. We have now added masks to our range of products cut from sturdy and durable 350 micron polyfilm.

We offer a complete bespoke design and cut package for chipboard or we can cut products to your digital designs.'

Tando Creative will be sending the randomly chosen winner a prize package.

The third sponsor is Di's Digi Downloads:

This is a little bit about Di who produces such gorgeous digital images:

'I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!'

The randomly-chosen winner will be able given a $10 voucher to spend - just click on the link and feast your eyes on the super images - you will not be disappointed!

The fourth sponsor is Die Cuts With a View:

'At DCWV, we strive to create products that are easy to use, timeless in their design, and affordable to the consumer. By combining our continued research in developing trends with the feedback we receive from our consumers, we are able keep our products and designs in line with current and future demands. Not only does the consumer purchase a stack with all of their favorite designs, they also continue to do so at a fabulous price.

With you and your customers in mind, we have created some exciting new products, some of which are made with materials unheard of in a paper stack. Chalkboard on paper, adhesive fabric, and rhinestone accents are just a few of the remarkable materials you will see in our collections.

At DCWV, we are proud to focus on quality, value, innovation, and service.'

Die Cuts With a View generously sent me a big package of goodies and the randomly chosen winner of this challenge will receive this lovely NOEL holiday glitzy glitter stack - 24 sheets 12 x 12 (sorry, a terrible photo that doesn't show this beautiful stack at its best):

Please visit the websites of these generous sponsors and support them -
you will be spoiled for choice!

Please look down the sidebar on the right to see all of the sponsors giving out prizes during this year. I am so thankful for everyone so generously coming on board to support me. When buying your crafting goodies, please click on the links to see what's on offer in their online stores and support them as much as you can with your orders.

This is my card, using some of the lovely DCWV papers kindly supplied by them (from a different stack, of course!)  - more about this on My Crafty Outlook here:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like you to use bright or sparkly colours when making your Christmas designs.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 13 November 2015. Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish  and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 14 November 2015 when there will be four chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you. Also it would be great if you would consider becoming a follower - lovely to welcome recent new followers and 'likers' on facebook.

Please also consider going to CHNC Facebook page and clicking 'like' if you haven't done so already and encourage your friends to do the same. We now have over 400 'likes'  - it was lovely to welcome anothe yet again this week, but there's plenty of room for more! I always show at least one of my cards for the next challenge in advance and it's a good place to catch up with any news, winners etc.

Don't forget

Don't forget that 'anything goes' monthly challenges are on my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra blog - you can share any Christmas card you make throughout the whole month, including those that you link here - there is no restriction on the number of entries you can make throughout the month - the link for CHNC challenge extra for November is here.

Last year I started up a new challenge called Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - anything goes as long as you use some patterned paper - a randomly chosen prize winner every month.
